Robert Tepper was an 80s One Hit Wonder. His moment in the sun came in 1986 when his song "No Easy Way Out" was included on the Rocky IV Soundtrack. It becase a big hit, topping out at number 22 on the US Billboard charts.
Prior to his big break, Tepper had one other brush with fame. He teamed with singer Benny Mardones to write Mardones' hit single "Into the Night". That song was such a big hit that it charted twice, originally in 1980 and then again in 1989. It also earned the pair a grammy nomination.
