Lyrics:
On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time

She'll just tell you that she came
In the year of the cat.
She doesn't give you time for questions
As she locks up your arm in hers
And you follow 'till your sense of which direction
Completely disappears
By the blue tiled wall… Continue

Nowadays I can somewhat remember some of the tunes that are faint in my memories and just can not remember names and titles.
Where can I find any information like a list for e… Continue

Ballard has written several hit songs for other artists. Some of his songs include "Winning" by Santana, "You Can Do Magic" by America, and "I Know There's Something Going On" by Frida. However in the blog entry,… Continue

Nena - 99 Luftballoons
The English Version:
Milli Vanilli - Blame it on the Rain
Yes they were from Germany. At least the band was formed in Germany and Rob was born in Munich... although he didn't actually sing the songs... And I don't know if this qualifies as a best of the 80s, since it was huge when it came out, but was totally discreditted when the world found out Fab and Rob didn't actually sing on the record... oh well, here it is:… Continue

I plan on doing a series on obscure 80s bands that people might have forgotten about. These are bands that had only one or two hits and are not played on retro radio much anymore.
The first band I plan on looking at is Breakfast Club. They did one of my favorite songs from the 80s: Right on Track. If you don't remember this song, watch the video below and I bet you will:
The band was… Continue
